Andy’s passion for the pro-life movement stems from his upbringing. Originally from Connecticut, Andy comes from a large Catholic family of eight and was raised in a home with strong Christian values. The phrase, “It’s not a choice, it’s a child” was often said in his house and is something that has always stuck with him.
Andy’s father is an attorney and was also a judge for part of his career. He worked on several cases that revolved around the issue of abortion; one case was even brought to the Supreme Court. Year after year, Andy watched him fight for the preborn. Watching his father work tirelessly on behalf of the preborn shaped Andy’s passion to fight for the end of abortion.
After college, Andy entered the business world for a while, but always felt something was missing. After a lot of soul searching and discernment, he decided to seek out a career in pro-life work. He is so grateful to now be working for Students for Life of America as the Florida Regional Coordinator.
Andy has experienced many successes, changed hearts, and changed minds that would not be possible without your generosity. For example, while doing an outreach project to build awareness for the local pro-life pregnancy resource center, Andy spoke with a woman who told him she was pro-choice. After a short conversation and sharing with her the realities of the abortion industry, she said, “Wow, I guess I never thought of it like that. You know, I’m going to talk to my church and see if we can partner with this pregnancy resource center.” Not only was her mind changed, but her heart was also changed.
With your help, Andy can change people’s hearts and even save lives. He is educating and connecting with students to expose the lies of the abortion industry, help them learn the truth, and become pro-life warriors to change the culture.
